CORPORATE CARBON FOOTPRINT VERIFICATION
Policies aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have defined both mandatory reductions and voluntary measures that organizations can adopt to control their emissions. One of these is the ISO 14064-1 standard, which focuses on the management, calculation, and reporting of greenhouse gases emitted as a result of an organization’s activities.
CTR verifies data for a specific period (typically a calendar year) according to the criteria set out in ISO 14064-3, using an emissions inventory prepared under ISO 14064-1 standards, which outlines methodologies for planning, managing, and reporting.
The process includes analyzing the greenhouse gas inventory prepared for the specified period by the organization and inspecting the facilities. The process concludes with the delivery of a report and a verification statement.
Your verified declarations demonstrate your organization’s commitment to climate change and environmental sustainability to all stakeholders. This helps differentiate your company from competitors, increases your market share, and provides a competitive advantage. Furthermore, it prepares you for potential legal obligations in the future and keeps you one step ahead of your rivals.
